Thank you for choosing Ancestral Gifts. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully to understand how and when your order will be shipped.


1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

  • Processing time includes verifying payment, packaging, and preparing your order for shipment.

  • If we experience high order volumes or delays (e.g. seasonal events or supply issues), processing might take longer; we’ll notify you ASAP.


2. Shipping Destinations

  • We ship to addresses across Canada and US.

  • For international orders, please contact us first through email to confirm whether we ship to your country, and what additional fees (customs, duties, taxes) may apply.


3. Shipping Methods & Costs

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
International orders may be converted by your bank at checkout.

Canada

  • Flat-rate shipping: $12 CAD

  • Complimentary shipping: on orders over $85 CAD

United States

  • Flat-rate shipping: $25 CAD

  • Complimentary shipping: on orders over $150 CAD

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Expedited / Express options:  $30(Canada), $40(US).

  • International delivery times vary greatly and depend on customs, local postal service speed, and other factors.


5. Tracking & Notifications

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

  • You can use this tracking number to see status updates.

  • If you don’t receive the tracking info within 1 business day after processing, please contact us at info@ancestralgifts.ca.


6. Shipping Disclaimer & Responsibilities

  • We do our best to pack products carefully. However, once the package is with the carrier, we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or weather.

  • We’re not liable for mis-delivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer. Please double-check your address at checkout.

  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or unclaimed delivery, customer may be responsible for re‑shipping costs.


7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with:

    1. photos of the damage to the product(s)

    2. photo(s) of the packaging used

    3. your order number

  • We will work with you to either send a replacement or issue a refund per our policy.

  • For lost shipments: once the carrier marks the package as delivered, we’re limited in what we can do. If tracking confirms delivery but you didn’t receive it, we’ll assist you in opening a claim with the carrier.


8. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (for International Orders)

  • The buyer is responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes that may be imposed by their country.

  • We try to mark orders accurately, but customs charges are outside of our control.

  • Delays at customs are not our responsibility.
